Immediately after the end of an injection session
Expect at the end of your hyaluronic acid injection session to have small bruises, redness or swelling on the injection sites. The importance and duration of these immediate factors vary from one individual to another and according to the products used, but they generally disappear after a few days. It is possible to resume work directly after the session. A work stoppage is therefore not necessary. It is recommended to avoid any significant physical effort the first 6 hours after injections. The result is visible immediately after the session but is not yet final. It will take a few days, when the swelling has stopped, to have the final result. Significant lip volume, red lips can be effects of the injection that will also fade over time. Remember to apply an anesthetic cream before having the injection. Things to avoid the days following the injections
Avoid exposing yourself to the sun, consuming alcohol, going to the hammam or sauna, taking aspirin or anti-inflammatories the days following the injections. Also avoid violent sports, mobilizations of the face (grimace, facial care, massages, etc.).

The longevity of the effects of hyaluronic acid injections on your lips depends on two factors:

Your lifestyle
Tobacco, stress, alcohol and too much sun reduce the effects of hyaluronic acid. It is recommended to drink plenty of water and to hydrate your lips as much as possible (especially during winter) with natural balms (based on shea butter or coconut oil for example). Apply a moisturizing lip mask once a week. Exfoliate your lips with a natural and delicate scrub, without damaging them too much once or twice a week maximum. Matte lipstick tends to dry out the lips, it is advisable not to abuse it too much, this also applies to lips that have not undergone any injection. You can also use
moisturizing and plumping hyaluronic acid-based cosmetics which will prolong the effects of the injections.
